CARA Results...

We logged  $2,436.91 in CARA COUPON sales Wednesday at BRAVO!, resulting in a donation of $243.69!   Broad Street had $1,689.59 in sales for a donation of $168.96, and Sal & Mookie's racked up a huge $4,342.15 in sales for a donation of $434.21!

Total donation to CARA???  $846.87!!

Thank you to everyone who chose to dine with us on Wednesday and show your support for this most important organization.

Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, inc. (CARA) is a non profit "no-kill" animal rescue group located in Jackson, MS that provides food, shelter & care for hundreds of abused, unwanted, & stray animals. CARA is operated by volunteers & part-time employees. The expenses for our programs & services are supported by private donations from individuals, businesses, & fund raising events throughout the year. We receive no funds from the city, county, state or federal government. The primary goal of CARA is the placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes; thereby enhancing the bond between animals & people. Our services are designed to promote responsible pet ownership. By education, communities can learn the benefits of proper care & treatment of all pets & why spay/neuter is important.   We hope you fill find your next pet at www.carams.org  Click it and take a look!!     Here is a picture of Abbie, a wonderful dog adopted by restaurant owner Jeff Good and his family from CARA this spring.  Abbie had a few health problems, but the Goods gave her a lot of love, along with great medical care from North State Animal Hospital, and now she is "Good to Go!"  :)

Sommelier Kelly Boutwell LOVES Riesling—and she wants to give you a reason to drink it.  Highly revered among wine freaks like herself as the world’s greatest white grape, many people shy away from it with syrupy visions of Blue Nun in their head.  Riesling is grown in both warm and cool climates world-round and made in a myriad of styles.
